The Preston Club Ltd was formed in 1908. It has facilities for indoor bowls, outdoor bowls, and snooker. Members can play against each other and against other clubs in well organised leagues. The club also offers friendly events for players of any ability.

Helen and Michael provide a warm welcome at the Preston Club restaurant, the venue feels relaxed and homely with a touch of class. Play a game of bowls, then order a cup of coffee and watch the world go by from the large club house windows. Head Chef Michael works round the clock to bring you a delicious spread of sweet and savoury dishes, perfect to enjoy alone, or with friends after playing in a tough league match. Why not stay on for lunch? Indulge yourself with delicious food and good wine of course!

Members may use the rinks whenever there is no match and rinks are not booked for competitions.
There are now only mixed matches against local Clubs and those from further a field are usually played on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.
Members wishing to play should enter their names on the team sheets displayed on the notice board. Tea and biscuits are usually provided during the afternoons but two-course meals may be provided when the teams travel a significant distance.
