Matches

Men

Matches against visiting Clubs from Home Counties are usually played on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday afternoons commencing at 14.00. These conclude with a 2- course meal and the fee to include the meal. Members wishing to play should enter their names on the team sheets displayed on the notice board.

Women

Matches against visiting Clubs from the Home Counties are usually played on Monday afternoons commencing at 14.00. These conclude with a 2-course meal and the match fee includes the price of the meal. Members wishing to play should enter their names on the team sheets displayed on the notice board.

Mixed

These are held approximately 15 times each season on Saturdays at 18.00. They usually conclude with a fish and chip supper. Members wishing to play should enter their name on the team sheets displayed on the appropriate notice board.

Leagues

Men

League matches of up to 10 teams play on Friday evenings at 19.00

Women

League matches of up to 11 teams play on Tuesday afternoons 13.45 – 16.30

Mixed

Football League, a game of triples, play on Thursday evenings at 19:00.

Drives

Mixed

Tuesday evening at 19.00, Thursday afternoon at 14.00, Friday morning at 11:00.

Competitions

Men

Club competitions are held in the New Year for Singles, Handicapped Singles, Mutual Pairs, Drawn Triples and Mutual Triples. Members wishing to play should complete an entry form which is displayed on the appropriate notice board in November of each year.

Women

Club competitions are held between October and April. They include Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours. Members wishing to play should complete an entry form which is provided with your application for renewal of membership in August of each year.

Mixed

Club competitions are held from the beginning of December through to the end of the season for Mixed Pairs. Members wishing to play should complete an entry form which is displayed on the appropriate notice board.
